Hi,
I'm trying to configure an NIS Linux server, but I'm having problems
with the Solaris clients. I'm exporting passwd & groups and I can see
them properly on the Solaris boxes (ypcat maps, ypwhich the server) but
when I try to login into the Solaris machines, I'm getting a "Login
incorrect" message. If I login as root and "su" to that account it's ok,
but it seems like the login process on the client machine is having
problems authenticating user's password.
The linux machine is Red Hat 6.0 2.2.5-15 and the configuration on the
/etc/nsswitch.conf on the Solaris client side is:
passwd: files nis
groups: files nis
netgroups: files nis
....
Regards,
