The VPN/PPTP docs say that in 2.2.X, if the kernel patch is applied, multiple clients can connect and the CONFIG_MASQUERADE_PPTP_MULTICLIENT options is obselete, and only CONFIG_IP_. But when I tried, even after rebuilding the kernel with this option on, only one client can connect at a time. I have the Win95/98 clients within a Linux firewall (using DHCP) and a remote Linux VPN server. Connection from one client works fine and I can share the remote machines' resources etc. But If I try with another client (even after disconnecting the 1st one), it just doesnt work. Is the IP-addr registered somewhere on the local firewall, thus preventing the masquerading of IP protocol 47? The error I get is as follows. IP_MASQ:Already used connection: IP_47, FIREWALL_IP:0 => VPN_IP:0, called from CLIENT_ID Qn: Is it possible to have multiple VPN clients for Linux PPTP and if so how? - TIA Oommen -====---====---====---====---====---====---====---====---====---====---====- to unsubscribe email "unsubscribe linux-admin" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] See the linux-admin FAQ: http://www.kalug.lug.net/linux-admin-FAQ/
