Hi guys,
I have problem i don't have explanation about. One of our servers
have 2 ether cards. The first has address from LAN's subnet, the
second has 192.168.1.2. In the latter i have connected DVB (SuperFlex)
receiver from where i receive my incoming packets from the void. So
the problem is that i can't make my linux box to forward packets from
second
eth to the first one, i.e. computers in the LAN to receive their
packets.
As i wrote kernel is 2.2.14, ip_forward is "1", ipchains show
ACCEPT for all chains. When i "tcpdump -i eth1" i see that
packets from the DVB receiver went to eth1, but can't go
further. The DVB receiver has IP 192.168.1.1 and when is connected
in the LAN hub everybody received their packets. In this case
i had added secondary IP 192.168.1.2 to cisco's ethernet interface.
Black magic here or what ;-)
Any comments? I'll appreciate any ideas.
best,
Petkan
