Folks,
I have a small workgroup (several reasons I don't want a domain) setup with
two NT Servers and on Linux (RH 6.1) laptop.
I have a Java Client/Server connection set up that runs fine on either
machine, as long as it is all on that machine.
I have "hosts" and "lmhosts" set up to contain all of the IP addresses of
the machines involved on all three machines. I have the tcp/port set up in
"services" on all of the machines.
When I run the server app on the NT server and the client app on the Linux
laptop I get a NoRouteToHostException error on the client when I try to
connect the sockets.
Any geniuses out there have a clue what I forgot? [I'm certain it is
something simple, especially if it is on the Linux side.]
In Harmony's Way, and In A Chord,
Tom :-})
