Hi everyone.
Im currently setting up a small box using Linux, Kernel 2.2.14. This
box is build up from the scratch without using a "normal" distribution.
Now that nearly everything works I came to the network part. When
playing around a bit with the network configuration sometimes a message
like "neighbour table overflow". I think I have a very brief idea
where this message comes from, but I dont know what to do against it.
Could someone here give me a hint where to look for further infos on
that or just tell me what to do?
Another problem I have is that "ping" tells me: unknown protocol icmp.
So, I have forgotten to make another step, but which one? Where is
"defined" which protocols are "known"? This ping command is taken from
my normal Debian installation, which has the same Kernel and glibc
running (kernel 2.2.14 as said above, glibc 2.0.7pre6).
Thanks in advance.
Bye, Mike
