Thanks for the reply. :o) I sure am using the tc and ip packages..using
2.2.13 kernel right now. I actually have some class-based queuing running
on eth5 on my router/firewall...the idea of that setup is the keep each
computer on it at 30Kbps maximum. But in that setup there is no need for
"burst" capacity...which is my problem. :o) And....I've yet to find good
documentation of the specific implementations in doing something like
this.
