I have two internal ip networks : 172.16.1.0 and 172.16.1.0 and I want
to link them using a ppp link over a dial-up line so that each computer
in one net can see every computer in the other net and viceversa

I am using two mandrake 7.0 boxes. Everything goes well but the boxes do
not forward packets outside the local network only inside ( using
ip-masq ).

I have packet forwarding enabled ( echo "1" >
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward in the rc.local ).

How the route rules should be like...
Do I have setup ipchains ?

Any ideas, links, workarounds ...

Mauricio Silva
