Hi,
Iam having a 6.2 RedHat linux box. I want to install Oracle for which I
have to recompile my kernel. After loading the configuration file from
/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/config.in into the kernel, I saved it and tried
'make dep' and make clean' which sucessfully run. Then I gave 'nohup make
bzImage &'.
After bzImage was succesful, I copied the image into /boot dir with name
as bzImage.saj.
Also edited the lilo.conf file by changing label = saj and image =
/boot/bzImage.saj
After saving the changes and when I run lilo, I get the following message
as "Added saj, No images have been defined". Which means that the kernel
image was not created succesfully. Can I know from this group, how to
avoid this error and proceed further.
Regards,
Sajith
