Yes, otherwise it shoudl read swfsck. Strangely enough the machine did
just that when booting and gave this message.

How do you know? Was my message dripping wet. I did sit in a puddle of my
own sweat while writing it. Actually I am more concerned about thunder
storms and we just had the first ones for the season when the screw-up
happened.
All seems to be working now after I manually created the swap space in the
hd partition indicated during reinstallation which somehow was not read
properly by the machine.
