Hi Lawson,
Thanks for the tip. I looked into /etc/lilo.conf and
found out that "boot=" was set to "boot=/dev/hda8" for
some reason. I changed it to "boot=/dev/hda"
Also, when I type 'lilo', I got the following msg:
Warning: device 0x0308 exceeds 1024 cylinder limit
Fatal: sector ... too large for linear mode(try
'lba32' instead)
So, I modified lilo.conf to use 'lba32', then, lilo
worked.
