Greetings: Following the thread - all replies, so far, have
recommended favourite editors.
Researching this for years I've only found two actual Word
Processors for Linux: AbiWord and CliqWord, both commercial products.
I 30 day evaluated CliqWord, CLI, and found it unwieldy compared to
our old time favourite WordStar6.0 that we now have running under
OpenDos/Dosemu.. There seems to be very little interest in the
subject and CLI junkies must be real iconoclasts..
I've seen no reference to the classical Unix "type setting"
route of; groff, pr, etc - not WYSIWYG. Good luck.
