Win2K... Who knows. Check the HAL on the MS site.
Most internal modems these days are "winmodems", that is, they
require processing power from the CPU to provide emulation of
features that real modems have in hardware.
Note: I have made a winmodem that uses a Lucent chipset work using
the linmodem driver available in source from
http://www.linmodem.org/
Recommendation? Get a real modem - external, blinky lights and all.
Guaranteed to work with any OS.
