If I want to get my kernel to load a root file system
that is appended to the kernel (IE I want to make one
big image, the kernel and the FS) how do I do that?
Basically, I dont have a disk on my system that
contains any Linux root file system, so I want to make
a (perhaps floppy) with the kernel on it and the
filesystem at the end and I want the kernel to load
the FS into memory and mount that (I guess this is ram
disk)
But how do I
1. Make a kernel with the FS attached to it
2. tell the kernel to use that when booting
Thanks
