heya..if this is to slackware specific let me know

have a current install of the zip slack package up and running

added apache, ssl and ssh packages straight from the slackware sight
and on boot up all three complain that /lib/libc.so.6 needs to be version
2.2 or newer..

i have searched through the help files and the slackware web sight..but
havent seen this one addressed..

1)is there a way to check teh version of
a library? I greped it for the string version..but nothing..

2)does a new library have to come in a package or can it just be
plopped in over the old one? (should the new version have come with the
apache package?)

3)last but not least where would one look for new version libraries?

sorry am very new..and ideas appreciated...
