I have got a general idea on packages like Mpg123 and mp3blaster.
Has anyone found or already started sort of "feature tables" in which
the features of let's say the two above named programmes are
listed in comparison (just like in the magazines, but for disk
storage use).

i imagine this could be very useful for linux-newbies

Da wir jetzt durch eine untaktisch kluge Fuegung eingesehen haben,
dass das mit der Zusammendehnung ein echter Griff ins Klo war, 
sehen wir keinen weiteren Grund zur Veranlassung.
