Well ... actually it does, both formal (enforced) and informal ones.
For the formal ones, go to the majordomo link listed in the trailer to this
(and every list) message.
For the informal ones ... watch the list traffic to get a sense of its
tone, and use common sense. Be polite. Remember that while this is an
English-language list, it includes many participants whose primary language
is not English. If you want help with something, include enouggh
information that people on the list can understand your problem. Don't
start fights, and don't continue fights if someone else starts one.
There are probably more informal "rules" here, but that's enough to get you
started safely.
