Also, for the same bits per second, ogg sounds better than mp3.
Far as ripping into ogg, just replace your mp3 encoder with the ogg
encoder.
Personally, I use mp3c to drive my ripping, and in the config file, I
replaced lame with the appropriate ogg tools and went from there.
