I subscribed to this list because it was ref'd on the BasicLinux
(BL) page. Truth be told, I use BL very rarely and rely mostly on more
up-to-date distros like RH 7.3 and Mandrake 8.2, so this list has
offerred some good learning opportunities for me in that respect. I, and
some others I've seen posting here, were on another list where BL
questions were fielded by the creator of BL, among others. But
the creator of BL left that list. I've seen him post to this list, so you
will likely see him responding to questions regarding BL here. I think 
he's probably quite busy now on his next release of BL, but you may see
him pipe in on this thread as well.
