Hi, Lately needle refills are available here for cartriges of ink-jet-printers at a tenth of the cost of the original replacement one.
So I decided to take out my Lexmark 1100 ink-jet-printer from the mothball box where it was put after the cartridge wich came with the printer became empty since I hate to be screwed, more than once ( I noticed it too late). I did all the necessary steps with printconf-gui to install the Lexmark 1100 printer. Unfortunately it won't print. It either does nothing at all or the printhead rattles endlessly on its corner spot. There are no error messages. Print queue shows added printjob. The paper feed and advance is working. Does somebody know how to make a Lexmark printer work in RH7.2?
