Indeed I had an idea about this - being a tool to copy *nix-LF-only- formatted files to DOS filesystems, e.g. to a DOS-formatted floppy (there are various editions of it, including my own for use in DOS, <bg>.) But using that would leave the (otherwise completely useless) copy cluttering the disk (not to speak of that it would mean a rather wasteful intermediary disk writing/reading procedure.)
