just a general statement, I don't actually have a problem with the spam i
get from any of the 4 or 5 majordomo listservs I'm subscribed to.  I filter
at mind end, and don't even notice most of it.

I was just thinking aloud that the a possible solution for spam on a open
listserv like this, would be that before people are primitted to post at
will, they have to send 1 message that gets approved by some supervisor or
list controller, but I've been spending all day making firewall rulls so my
mind is probably rattled :)
