just a general statement, I don't actually have a problem with the spam i get from any of the 4 or 5 majordomo listservs I'm subscribed to. I filter at mind end, and don't even notice most of it.
I was just thinking aloud that the a possible solution for spam on a open listserv like this, would be that before people are primitted to post at will, they have to send 1 message that gets approved by some supervisor or list controller, but I've been spending all day making firewall rulls so my mind is probably rattled :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Olszewski" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, March 10, 2004 10:34 AM Subject: Re: Spam from linux-newbie > At 08:50 AM 3/10/2004 -0500, John T.
