Hey folks I am having a bit of a problem with my sound card in linux. I have been using the OSS sound config program to get the sound card configured. It seems to configure fine with all the irq and dma. At least they all match what windows 95 shows. And it works fine in windows. But the problem I have is that the playback of waves and mp3 is terrible scratchy and distroted. It plays the startup wav for tkdesk alright but anything else sounds like a scratching record.
