That's maybe a bit to extreme, because not everything is different between
two distributions.

Instead of downloading from Sunsite, try a mirror thats closer to you.
That way you will get a faster download and you don't make sunsite get
overloaded. ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/MIRROR I think...
