You should check out the excellent document "The Hitchhiker's Guide to XFree86
Video Timings (Last I checked it could be found at
<http://www.ccil.org/~esr/xconfig/video-modes.html> but you might have to
search for it).

Oh, and the mystique doesn't need a clock setting at all (at least I'm doing
fine without it).
