I'm not sure if Red Hat 4.1 uses modules, but if it does, you should find
a script (or a symlink) somewhere under /etc/rc.d that loads the module.
If this is the case, you have to find the appropriate module name (or try
loading all modules until one works). Modules are normally located under
/lib/modules/something.

If your system does not use modules, you will have to recompile your
kernel (you did install development tools and kernel sources, didn't
you?). Read /usr/src/linux/README for instructions. If you can't figure it
out, mail me and I'll give a more detailed explanation.
