It is simple. If your doing it the first time get a full new
kernel package, about 6 meg worth. If you have ever compiled a kernel get
the patch package. Put the package in your /usr/src directory. Unpack it
using the proper method if it is the full new package. Be sure to mv the
existing /usr/src/linux to something like /usr/local/linux.2.0.25.
Now cd /usr/src/linux/ and read the README. It is very good!
