First of all, there is a file called sample.fetchmailrc in the directory tree
of the source, but here is one for you.

------------.fetchmailrc
poll pop.bob.com
username bob
password bobsun
------------.fetchmailrc

No ip addresses go into this script.
Whatever email program you use, set it to get you mail from "local spool", or
something close to that.
