I dont have pgpsendmail source here, however, looking at the text
"pgpsendmail looks for sendmail.real" one would expect that when installing
pgpsendmail the install script would (should) copy /usr/sbin/sendmail to
/usr/sbin/sendmail.real then install its own binary. Check the date of
/usr/sbin/sendmail possably it will still be the origanal binary, if so copy
it to sendmail.real and install pgpsendmail by hand.
Of course the above is only a suggestion.

Most things are "simple" to install if the install instructions are
followed.
