I dont kow about Redhat 51, but normaly on all systems "stdarg.h" is found
in the Development directory(s), ie,
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-linux/2.7.2.1/include

You may need to edit the path or define it in your Makefile, if you do not
have it installed and its not included on the Redhat 5.1 cd-rom or in the
install source you have, then possably it has been renamed or moved
somewhere else. (Which i doubt)..

As a pointer to others who have this sort of problem, use your system to its
full extent, try 'locate filename' first before asking a question here on
the list.
That will save you time, therefor us all bandwidth and possably some $$.
