Well if you had taken the time to note down the exacht error messages and
repeat them here, then maybe it would have been easy to give a more direct
answer, however one would think from what you type that you "device is full"
now it could be that the ""disk"" is not full but the "device" is full the
device being /usr for example mounted as /dev/hda1 but /dev/hda2 could be
half empty or whatever. Remember both of the /dev's above are on one disk.
You will need to be more spesific about how you have partitioned your disk
and send the error messages being produced when installing.
Also the output of 'df' would be of imense importance here.
