Hi all.
I'm new to this group, having inherited a hard drive with Red Hat 5.1 installed. I had
heard through the grape vine we had one hard drive with Red Hat already installed, so
I grabbed it. I've wanted to learn the operating system for months now, and this was a
great oppotunity. So I thought.
I unfortunately use NT4.0 at work, and have Win95 installed on my wife's computer. I
have read all the literature in the HOW-TO series, but haven't been able to find out
how to install DOS-Win95 on the hard drive.
It's 1.3GB, and RH5.1, and the swap partition is formatted. I just need to have a
little guidance on this one.
I have XWindow's configured and really enjoy it's feature's. I have been browsing the
file configuration, but can't seem to figure out how to add a partition.
I would also like to be able to choose which operating system to use at bootup. I'm
good at manipulating DOS code, "BAT, SYS" files, etc. But Linux is new to me.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Tony B.
