when I format a disk in ext2 format it will format perfectly and will be 100% usable but when I try issuing the command "mkdosfs -c /dev/hdb4" the tries to format then comes up with errors. After that I can no longer format it under linux at all. Any ideas. I have not tried to format it under dos/windows yer. It may have destroyed the disk but I am not sure just yet.
