Hi,
How come, through X windows (by netcfg) I have no problem connectin to
my isp, then to the web.
But when I go on Linux "text mode" (if I can say it that way), I try
hundred things: create a chat script and try to use pppd command with
it/ execute ppp-on from root/ launc minicom, then pppd...and nothing
works (despite great configurations of ppp files such as
options, pap-secrets) ???
I also found it difficult to have PPP just as module. I ve tried
recompile kernel so PPP would not be module anymore (but load into
kernel)..seems that there s no way!
