Even better, a pop mail program should be able to go and retrieve your mail
if it is just for one account. It will down load the mail into the account
it is launched from. With this program, you could probably create a shell
script that would launch your ppp connection (or slip if you prefer),
connect to the other network and retrieve your mail, and shutdown your ppp
connection. You should download a package and look at the documentation to
see if it is truly what you need, or want.

Great Server.... Easy to install and maintain....

Do you have Xwindows?? If you don't install Xwindows. Then you can use
Netscape which has built in routing for proxy servers.....
