I am not sure if you can use IPX with Linux. Setting up TCP/IP on your win box
isn't too hard. The settings for the dialup and net card will be different.
The dialup will have the settings required by your ISP. the net card will have
addresses for your home network. Open the properties sheet for TCP/IP on your
net card, and enter the IP address & subnet mask. For home network try this
address:

(computer1)
192.168.1.1 (ip)
255.255.255.0 (subnet mask) 


(computer2)
192.168.1.2
255.255.255.0
