Nameserver problem, using my example below might help.

Yep no nameserver,

Looks like http://www.erinet.com does not have a page, i would direct lynx
to my own page in /usr/lib/lynx.cfg

Looks like you are starting (or the system is trying to start "named") but
named has not been installed.

If you dont want named to be started then comment out the following lines in
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet2

 # Start the NAMED/BIND name server.
 if [ -f ${NET}/named ]; then
   echo -n " named"
   ${NET}/named
 fi

If you want to use named you will need to read the doc's and install it.

Someone else will possably know an answer here for you, as i have no ppp.
Its possably the lack of a line about routing in your ppp-down script.
