Althouth The K6 itself supports SMP, there are no motherboards that support it. My understanding of this is as follows: All K6, Cyrix, etc. support an SMP standard. Intel chips support a more proprietary SMP architecture. Motherboard designers don't really see much reason to support the more "open" of the standards. Too bad, really. I'd have bought one!
