A "barebones" system usually means no HDD, no RAM, sometimes no video
card, often no mouse or keyboard, often no CPU. My computer was a
barebones purchase from Onsale - no CPU, HDD, etc. We purchased all
needed bits from Onsale as well. Runs great! Lets you put together a
machine just the way you want it. For details of what it comes with,
check the individual descriptions - some outfits will include more than
others.
