I have a purely SCSI machine with an AHA2794 (PCI) controller on board. A
Slackware precompiled kernal worked fine for starting. For Slackware, at
any rate, it is important to examine the table in the kernal directory to
determine which one you should use. In addition to the HD, the controller
runs a CDROM reader and an Iomega 100 Zip drive. Never any problems. Be
sure, however, the SCSI bus is properly terminated. BTW, Win95 is not
nearly so happy with a SCSI only system.

Good Luck,
