"Running Linux" by Welsh and Kauffman, published by O'Reilly.  I bought
a copy at the weekend and it's very good so far and seems to be suitable
for beginners and near-experts.  I also have "Teach Yourself Linux in
24-Hours" published by Sams.  Its quite basic but covers a very wide
range of issues.  It comes with RH5 and is based on installing and using
that distribution.
