I've ran out of space on my 500 meg partition (and I haven't even
downloaded the 100 meg WordPerfect 8 yet!). I want to take another gig
from Dos and make a second Linux partition (actually, a third -- also
got a 48 meg swap).

1. Is Fdisk the program to do this with?
2. Is it possible to keep all the essential files on the 500 meg
partition, and place all the accessories (games, word processors, etc.),
on the 1 gig partition?
3. Will accessing these other programs be similar to having several
"drives" in Windows, with the "F" drive programs calling on the "C"
drive Windows files as needed?
4. Would it be better to just copy all of the OS onto the new larger
partition?
5. If I keep the 500 meg partition with the 48 meg swap partition, will
I have to make a new swap partition with the larger 1 gig partition (or
will the 48 meg one be satisfactory)?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Brian
