I am not going to dispute because i dont have one of these drives, however a
friend of mine here does have one which is hooked thro' his soundcard, the
file /usr/src/linux/Documentation/cdrom/sbpcd tells you howto do it.

So according to the documentation it is possable, but you need to edit some
source files first, just like you have to with the mcd cdrom driver.

Not reading /usr/src/linux/Documentation/cdrom/sbpcd properly FIRST and not
doing what is written, will certainly lead to problems.
