Thanks to all who have responded. MI/X works fine, and it is FREEWARE now.
I'm having some difficulty setting up the X-WinPro XDMCP settings to make
it run without telnet to the X server first. But those are small difficulties.

I can run an xterm without problems, which is just about good enough for
what I need to do.
