Somebody help me, I use RedHat 5.1 for my machine and I've just made a script file that will execute some command at start-up. I place it in /etc/rc.d/init.d/ and then make a sym link that is stored in /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/. I saw that symbolic links in /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/ have sort of naming pattern, for example: K15gpm K60lpd S10network S32gated K20rwhod S50inet S91smb S85httpd Is there any naming rule that is used to create symbolic link in this directory ? Thanx, Cecep
