Sadly, I must admit, I have a dual boot Win98/RHL 5.1 system.
I plan on just downloading the free patch from US Robotics and
applying it while in Win98. For those of you having only Linux I
think you might be able to just boot to DOS from any Win95,
Win98, DOS 6.22 disk and apply the patch from there, then
boot back to Linux. Typically those patches don't save anything
to the hard drive, so they aren't expecting or looking for a DOS
partition. All changes are made/saved to the flash BIOS.
Admittedly, I've only applied patches from Windoze, so I could
be wrong. Anybody tried it before?
