Hi Ronald!

If you want your installed applications to run from the console, you�ll
have to install them in a location in your shell�s path (to find that out,
type $PATH if you use bash ). Then you can start your app from anywhere in
the tree.
StarOffice installed itself to /opt/StarOffice on my system. I linked the
start script to my KDE desktop, and that�s it.
I�m happily running StarOffice 5.0 and 4.0 on the same system, but the
latter will go as soon as I get the hang of the new one.
