OK - what I have gathered from most of my responses is that a good way to tackle the problem of shrinking the windoze partition is to defrag, put all the data in he first part of the HD, and then use fips to shrink it... One person, however, warned me that fips wont preserve ANYTHING, and that regardless of defragging, I will lose data potentially... Thoughts? Should I just be, um, "finding" a copy of Partition Magic and using that? (assuming I can "find" it...I'm cheap) -Evan-
