If you mean similar as in one that uses ICMP packets with increasing ttl
values to incrementally check a route hop by hop then in UNIX/LINUX , the
utility is called traceroute and in OS2 it is called tracerte .
Which platform are you using?
There are some utils that can analyse RIP, OSPF, IGRP and EIGRP routing
messages and can build up a picture of an AS but these are usually bundled
in with the big SNMP packages such as HP Openview.

Subject: trscert equivalent, dual boot problems
<< File: ATT00000.html >> I need to find a util similar to the tracert on
a win95 machine. Is there one anybody could let me know about? Thanks.
I also have a problem with booting a dual boot system, I have a win98
machine which as some SCSI drives with win98 on and some EIDE drives with
Linux on, I couldn't get LILO to work, it was unable to write MBR record,
so I decided to use loadlin but I when I installed the kernel it complains
that it cannot resolve module dependency's, so I have to boot of the floppy
disk.
Again thank you for your help,
Darren Pedley
