When using minicom, my modem will fail to connect but not hang up.
Minicom keeps working, the hangup function is accessible but after the
line remains open. When I exit minicom there is a delay in returning the
prompt. The phone remains 'in use' until Linux is rebooted
There are no error messages, Linux functions as normal except for the
fact that it maybe slower.
This occurs with M$ 666 also, but is there a way to hangup the line
without rebooting
