Can anyone recommend good X-Based Mail and newsreader programs?

I've tried the following:

Netscape mail and news
XC-Mail
KDE mail and news

XC-Mail was great, except that it didn't support filtering, (sorting out the
posts from several mailing lists from your personal e-mail is a real pain
without filtering), and it didn't have a wrap around feature in the text editing
windows (so if you edit a line, you have to adjust the length of each line in
that paragraph by hand). I'm trying out KDE's mail and newsgroup programs, but
I'm not happy with either (the mail program doesn't recognize the proper address
for linux-newbie in a reply, for instance, and tries to reply to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], the newsreader somehow deleted the only
articles I wanted from the batch I had downloaded, and when I downloaded,
it tried to download every article for every group I'm subscribed to,
instead of just the one I had right clicked on. I had to kill the program to
get it to stop.)
